Timo Scheider makes 5th place in Cape Town
Racing drama at final round of the FIA World Rallycross Championship in Cape Town, South Africa.
The weekend was full of action and the crowds fantastic! MJP Racing Team Austria's Timo Scheider reached another final but was held back by a broken damper and made 5th place and 10th in the championship. A great achievement considering that Timo Scheider had one race less than everyone else. Kevin Eriksson suffered a gearbox problem in the semi-final and placed 11th both in the race and the championship standing. Best private team, best private drivers and the '2017 Mechanics of the Year' Award shows what a great performance MJP Racing was able to deliver in 2017.
